If my desk cannot accommodate a clamp and does not have a pre-drilled hole, how can I install the INFTYLAB Studio Arm series using the grommet method?
If the desk is not suitable for using a clamp and there are no existing holes on the desktop:
The grommet supports desktop thicknesses ranging from 10 mm to 70 mm.
If the desktop does not have pre-drilled holes, the material must be sturdy enough to allow drilling.
When using the grommet, the distance between the hole and the desk edge may need to be considered.Please note:
The grommet requires the arm to be fixed in the same position for an extended period. If you frequently need to move the arm or prefer not to leave marks on the desktop, this installation method may not be suitable.
Common cable management holes on desks typically have sufficient diameter for grommet mounting, but please remember to thread any cables through the hole before securing the mounting bracket. -
I would like to disassemble the stand, but the screw between the front and rear arms is stuck and cannot be loosened. What should I do?
Difficulty in loosening the screw may be due to the weight of the monitor and prolonged periods without disassembly.In such cases, it is recommended that two people work together to remove the stand. One person should support the monitor and gently lift it upward, while the other person loosens the screw.
Please ensure that your monitor is supported with both hands at all times during the disassembly process to prevent accidental drops and potential damage.

How can I confirm if my Studio Display can be directly mounted on the AM01?
How to confirm: Simply inspect the back of your monitor.
VESA Adapter Version: There are four standard screw holes located in the center on the back. The AM01 fully supports both the 100x100mm and 75x75mm mounting patterns and can be directly attached.
Standard Stand Version (default stand): The original Apple stand is non-removable, so the monitor cannot be directly mounted on the AM01.
Solution: Please contact Apple Support to inquire about replacing it with the VESA version, or consider purchasing the dedicated SCS01F adapter for expansion and compatibility.
Height-Adjustable Version: The original Apple stand is non-removable, so the monitor cannot be directly mounted, and the SCS01F adapter is not compatible.

Which Apple monitor models are supported by the AM01 monitor stand?
The following are the supported models for the AM01:
- 2022 Studio Display VESA Version
- 2026 Studio Display (XDR) VESA Version
- 2022 Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
- 2026 Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
Before purchasing, please note that if your monitor uses the Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version, the stand cannot be detached.
We recommend the following options:
- Contact Apple support to inquire if the stand can be exchanged for the VESA version, which may involve additional fees.
- Purchase the SCS01F VESA Adapter separately for expansion and conversion.
If your stand is the Tilt- and height-adjustable version, we do not recommend using an adapter solution.

How can I disable the rotation limit function on the AM01 / AM02 pole?
The INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01/AM02 is factory-set with a 180° rotation limit on the pole.
To disable this limit, please follow the steps below:
- Use the hand tool provided in the cable management box to remove the C-clamp, and prepare an M4 screwdriver to unscrew the base screws.
- Rotate the limit screw until it is parallel with the surrounding base surface.

I have already purchased the Studio Display with the standard stand. Can I still use it to the AM01?

For the Standard Stand Version (default stand): The original Apple stand cannot be detached, so the monitor cannot be directly mounted on the AM01.

Can the AM01 / AM02 support the BenQ MA series?
Yes, The AM01 supports the 32" MA series, including the MA320U (using the VESA mode). The AM02 supports the 27" MA series, including the MA270S, MA270U, and MA270UP (using the stand mode+).

Am I able to install or disassemble the AM01 by myself?
Due to the considerable weight of the Studio Display and the need for precise alignment during installation, it is recommended that two people work together to complete the monitor arm installation.
