After completing the installation of the AM02 monitor arm, is it necessary to adjust the weight support for the monitor?
- If you are using the VESA of the iMac, no adjustments are required, allowing you to enjoy optimal operation.
- If you are using the Stand version of the iMac, please adhere to the following instructions:
2-1. Ensure that the iMac is securely mounted on the monitor arm.
2-2. Lower the monitor to its lowest height, then continue applyingdownward pressure until a "click" sound is heard. Afterward, rotate the knob to the next position.
Please note:
The knob should only be rotated when the monitor is at its lowest position. Do not attempt to rotate the knob at any other height. -
After installing the AM02 monitor arm, do I need to adjust the monitor’s tilt tension?
If you are using an iMac, no additional tilt tension adjustment is required. The AM02 is factory-calibrated to the optimal tension value, so no further adjustments are necessary.
If sagging still occurs:
Please ensure that the total weight of all items mounted on the monitor arm is between 3.86 and 5.7 kg.
If this condition is met, please use the hex wrench provided in the cable management box and follow the instructions below to make adjustments: -
If my desk cannot accommodate a clamp and does not have a pre-drilled hole, how can I install the INFTYLAB Studio Arm series using the grommet method?
If the desk is not suitable for using a clamp and there are no existing holes on the desktop:
The grommet supports desktop thicknesses ranging from 10 mm to 70 mm.
If the desktop does not have pre-drilled holes, the material must be sturdy enough to allow drilling.
When using the grommet, the distance between the hole and the desk edge may need to be considered.Please note:
The grommet requires the arm to be fixed in the same position for an extended period. If you frequently need to move the arm or prefer not to leave marks on the desktop, this installation method may not be suitable.
Common cable management holes on desks typically have sufficient diameter for grommet mounting, but please remember to thread any cables through the hole before securing the mounting bracket. -
I would like to disassemble the stand, but the screw between the front and rear arms is stuck and cannot be loosened. What should I do?
Difficulty in loosening the screw may be due to the weight of the monitor and prolonged periods without disassembly.In such cases, it is recommended that two people work together to remove the stand. One person should support the monitor and gently lift it upward, while the other person loosens the screw.
Please ensure that your monitor is supported with both hands at all times during the disassembly process to prevent accidental drops and potential damage.

How can I disable the rotation limit function on the AM01 / AM02 pole?
The INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01/AM02 is factory-set with a 180° rotation limit on the pole.
To disable this limit, please follow the steps below:
- Use the hand tool provided in the cable management box to remove the C-clamp, and prepare an M4 screwdriver to unscrew the base screws.
- Rotate the limit screw until it is parallel with the surrounding base surface.

M4 iMac VESA Version
M1 iMac Stand Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
M3 iMac Stand Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
M4 iMac Stand Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
Before purchasing, please note that if your monitor uses the iMac Stand Version, the stand cannot be detached. We recommend the following options:
- Contact Apple Support to inquire about exchanging the stand for the VESA version, which may involve additional fees.
- Alternatively, purchase the SCS01F VESA Adapter for expansion and conversion.

Can the AM01 / AM02 support the BenQ MA series?
Yes, The AM01 supports the 32" MA series, including the MA320U (using the VESA mode). The AM02 supports the 27" MA series, including the MA270S, MA270U, and MA270UP (using the stand mode+).

Can I install the INFTYLAB Studio Arm with IKEA's table?
The ANFALLARE and LAGKAPTEN series desks and workstations are compatible with the INFTYLAB Studio Arm.
However, the INGO series dining and work tables are not suitable for use with the INFTYLAB Studio Arm.
ANFALLARE series desks/workstations: Compatible for installation
LAGKAPTEN series desks/workstations: Compatible for installation
INGO series dining/work tables: Unfortunately, due to insufficient edge clearance, these are incompatible with the BenQ ERGO ARM gas spring monitor stand.

Can the AM02 be used with a non-Apple monitor?
Yes, you may use the AM02, provided that the following conditions are met:
- The monitor supports the VESA standard (100x100mm or 75x75mm).
- The weight ranges between 3.86 and 4.46 kg or between 5.1 and 5.7 kg, and the size does not exceed 32 inches.
- There are no surrounding structures that interfere with the VESA mounting during installation.
If all of the above conditions are satisfied, the AM02 is compatible for use.
