Are the forward button and the thumbl wheel the same thing?
Yes, the INFTYLAB M Mouse's forward button and thumb wheel are the same side control.
Scrolling it acts as the thumb wheel (default horizontal scrolling, changeable to zoom via the desktop software); clicking it acts as the forward button (which can be bound to system actions, multimedia controls, or custom key combinations in the software). -
After I hold the pairing button, the indicator light doesn't flash quickly and the mouse won't enter pairing mode — what should I do?
This is usually because you didn't press deeply enough to actually trigger the button. Please make sure you press the pairing button "firmly all the way down" and hold it for a full three seconds — the indicator light will then start flashing quickly and enter pairing mode. If there's still no response, first confirm the mouse is powered on and has enough battery, then try again.

Where are the physical buttons located? Where are the back button / top button?
The button locations are as follows:
- Main scroll wheel: on the top of the mouse.
- Top button: on top, behind the main scroll wheel. (there's a marker line behind the wheel)
- Forward button: on the left side (thumb side), toward the front.
- Back button: on the left side (thumb side), toward the back.
The forward button and the thumb wheel are the same side control — it acts as the Forward button when clicked and as the thumb wheel when scrolled.

What should I do if the USB receiver (Dongle) accidentally enters pairing mode?
Press the pairing button once more to cancel Dongle-mode pairing. You can continue using it normally.
Under normal use, the pairing relationship between the receiver and the mouse won't be lost on its own. -

Why can't I find my cursor or see the cursor's movement trail on screen? How do I fix it?
This is usually not a mouse malfunction. When DPI is set fairly high (e.g., around 2000 or above), the cursor moves in larger jumps each time; on a standard refresh-rate monitor, the movement trail looks discontinuous and hard to follow with your eyes, so it seems like you can't find the cursor. We recommend lowering the DPI a bit first; you can also try raising the polling rate.
-
How do I switch between paired devices?
Press the signal-source switch button on the bottom of the mouse (BLE1/2/3 or Dongle) to switch the target computer. The software's switch-device page shows the connection and device information for each signal source in real time.
-
How many DPI levels can I switch between? What's the range? How do I adjust it?
DPI can be customized between 400–6000, It can be adjusted in both the web and desktop versions.
